If you want to find out what studying for a master's or another postgraduate taught degree at Manchester is like, come to an open day or one of the many study fairs we attend worldwide.
Open days on campus
Our postgraduate taught study open days give you the chance to visit our outstanding teaching and learning facilities and meet academics and current students in your subject area. You’ll also get information on funding, particularly the master's loan.
Our 2020 postgraduate taught study open day will be confirmed early next year.

1-1.30pm | Welcome presentation This presentation provides an overview of life as a postgraduate student at Manchester. It includes information on the teaching and learning environment, the nature of postgraduate study and the services, facilities and support on offer which will enable you to make the most of your studies. |
1.30-2pm | Postgraduate student finance This presentation outlines the potential funding sources for taught postgraduate students and will include information about the postgraduate loan. More general financial considerations and advice will be offered. |
2pm onwards | Faculty/School-based activity Further information about the Faculty sessions will be available through the Guidebook app. |
2-4pm | Student finance drop-in session |

Education fairs overseas
We attend many education fairs worldwide each year, giving you the chance to meet representatives from The University of Manchester near you.
Additionally, representatives from Alliance Manchester Business School attend events around the world – view the Alliance MBS master's events calendar to see when and where you can meet out staff.
